The Conscious Choice Awards® is an independent recognition program honoring natural,  healthy, and sustainable products and services. CCA is not a certification, testing, or regulatory  program. Awards are granted at the sole discretion of CCA based on independent evaluation.  Participation or receipt of an award does not constitute certification, approval, or endorsement  by any government or regulatory body.

CCA reserves the right to: reject or withdraw any application; reassign a product to a different  category; revoke or modify an award designation; adjust criteria, requirements, or program  structure without prior notice. You are submitting a product or service for evaluation only; an  award is not guaranteed. Marketing and promotional benefits apply only to applicants who meet  the award criteria. CCA is not responsible for the loss, damage, or return of any materials,  samples, or products submitted. All evaluation materials become the property of CCA and will  not be returned. A minimum of three (3) evaluation samples may be required. Application fees  are non‑refundable.

By submitting an application, the Applicant certifies that all information provided is accurate and  complete; submitted products are market‑ready (not prototypes); all applicable safety, labeling,  and regulatory requirements are met; the product does not infringe upon any third‑party  intellectual property rights; and that applicants understand award results and evaluations are  confidential and will not be released.

CCA retains full and absolute discretion to grant, withhold, or revoke awards. Applicants agree  not to contest or challenge award outcomes. CCA’s evaluation and the granting of an award  shall not be construed as a warranty, certification, or representation of the safety, performance,  or compliance of any product or service.

By submitting a product to Conscious Choice Awards (“CCA”), you acknowledge and  agree that all submitted items become the property of CCA upon receipt. Products will  not be returned under any circumstance. CCA may, at its sole discretion, donate unused  items to vetted nonprofit organizations after the evaluation process has concluded. Such  donations are made exclusively to reduce waste and enable responsible redistribution.  CCA does not represent or guarantee that any specific product will or will not be  donated. Submitters may not claim tax deductions or charitable contributions for  submitted items.

Under no circumstances shall CCA, its officers, directors, judges, contractors, or affiliates be  liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or  related to participation in the program, use or promotion of any recognized product or service, or  reliance on the award or related materials. Participation is at the Applicant’s sole risk.

The Applicant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CCA, its affiliates, officers,  judges, contractors, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities,  damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the  Applicant’s participation, the Applicant’s products or marketing materials, or any alleged or  actual harm caused by the Applicant’s products or representations.

Award recipients may display the Conscious Choice Awards® seal in accordance with CCA’s  Brand Usage Guidelines. The seal is licensed only for the awarded product(s) and only for the  award year indicated. CCA may revoke the license for misuse or misrepresentation. Use of the  seal does not imply certification or endorsement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of, without regard to  conflict‑of‑law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts  of Santa Cruz County.
